Photo Diary: January 2015

I've just decided to make this a thing, so at the end of each month I'm going to round up what I've been up to. Sort of like a visual diary for myself to look back on, like I would if I vlogged my days. Maybe that might happen in the future but for now I'll keep it to the blog.

NEW YEARS: I did mention this in a post or two but I went on a week's holiday with a few of my friends to Dalmeny in NSW, about four hours from where I live. I really loved this week. There were many trips to the beach literally down the road, we got a blow up pool for the front yard and we played many drinking games. It was a good week with good people. I was so relaxed and loved being shut off from reality as well as the Internet (mostly). And yes, that top right photo was taken with my selfie stick - guilty! ;)

NEW ROOM: I won't talk much about this as I have a whole post about it here but this was something  exciting that happened in January so it gets a mention in this 'diary' post. Yes, I'm still in love with it.

THE 1975: Again, I have a post about this concert here but I was SO happy this night. Concerts make me happy and this one was probably one of the best I've been to. In the post I didn't have the bottom left photo, which I stole off Instagram but that is Jess and Emily. They live in Newcastle and I have been friends with them online for years and we usually try to meet up for a bit when we're at the same concerts. So hey shout out to you two!! Also I just need to mention that on Emily's Instagram post someone commented "#holytrinity" and I died a little inside bc that is so nice!!! (shoutout to you Kelli if you're reading this.. probably not haha)

NEW IN: I haven't posted about this on social media (yet), but two weeks ago I bought myself a new car! It's a 2009 Mazda 2 Neo and I AM IN LOVE WITH HER!!!!! She's so cute. So exciting, I feel like a real adult (but I'm not really shh). This is my second car, I've had my first car for about three and a half years now so I figured it was time for a cheeky upgrade. So I now have air-conditioning and power steering which I didn't previously have (it wasn't a shitbox I promise, she was good to me).

If you follow my Instagram (my blog one, not personal) I posted this picture of my gorgeous new swimmers from Seafolly. My bank account cried a little but sometimes you've gotta pay the price for some good support. I need to buy some more for my holiday to Thailand later in the year so if you know anywhere with cute swimmers that are also good us bustier girls then please let me know! They were ideally to wear for Australia Day but the weather was a bit of a bust so they still need to make their debut.

AUSTRALIA DAY: And that brings me to the last exciting thing of January which was the Australia Day party I had with my friends. We spent the day at my friend's house down by the river and was still an awesome day despite the overcast weather. I didn't swim but that didn't stop everyone. There was about 30 of us down there with people always out on a boat and wakeboarding, always a fun time with my friends!!

How was your January? I can't believe we're already into February! Next thing I know I'll be back at uni.. but let's not think about that jsut yet.. *lives in holiday mode forever*
